slow room service missed wake-up call
The location proved acceptable. It provided easy access to nearby attractions.
The room service was notably slow. I ordered a meal, but it arrived cold after a considerable delay. the promised wake-up call failed, causing disruption to my planned schedule.

excellent stay!
room kitchenette balcony view comfortable bed
I appreciated the facilities in my room with a kitchenette. the balcony overlooking the garden was a nice bonus. I also liked the lounger chairs. beds were very comfortable (i slept like a baby!). staff were friendly, though sometimes a little forgetful with requests, but it was okay.
i did find that the air conditioning in my room wasn't working properly. i reported it, but it wasn't fixed . it made the room a bit uncomfortable at times.

the breakfast offered a good variety (especially the pastries!), and the service was efficient. i found the dining area to be clean and well-kept.

the rooftop garden provided an unexpected retreat with lovely views. the spa offered a sauna and steam room, though some facilities were not fully functional. the jacuzzi pool was a refreshing experience after using the sauna.

a decent choice!
central location comfortable room pool maintenance lack of communication
The location was fantastic. Close to all the sights! the room was large, clean, and comfortable. i arrived early and the hotel stored my bags and then left them in the room. it was waiting for me when i returned!
unfortunately, the facilities weren't all working! the pool was out of action. i booked the hotel to use the pool but learned it was having maintenance. it wasn't just for one day. it lasted the full three days of my stay!

Acceptable experience
fantastic location large room pool maintenance disappointing communication
The location IS fantastic for seeing attractions. It is easy to walk to many places. The beautiful large rooms are designed as an apartment and feel spacious. The breakfast occurs in an ornate room from the palace days.
The pool was out of action unfortunately. I booked this hotel to use the pool BUT was told it was under maintenance for the entire three days of my stay. This was REALLY disappointing and no compensation was given.
